Slept like a baby last night:tired:

Legs heavy this morning, but back down to pre Xmas weight:wahhey:

Well done Andy.
Me too. Not self discipline I hasten to add but a 3 day migraine that left me so nauseous I didn’t want to eat much at all. The trick now is not to start eating again:rolleyes:

I thought it had been very quiet on here - no notification of new posts for a day or so. Then realised I must have missed an alert and have now caught up d'oh.

I raced the Team Italy race at 5.40 last night and it seems my malaise is past as I was back to normal power levels thankfully. However I had an issue with my P1 pedals where the power from the right pedal kept dropping out for a few seconds, leaving my recorded power at half what it should have been. I have a datafield showing left/right split so I could see it was definitely the right dropping. This happened 5-6 times leaving me to chase like a fool to catch up.

It seems I won the C Category which is pleasing - now need to get my w/kg up and get into B.

You gonna ride Teide?

Did it last year with 'Tenerife Bike training'
Absolutely loved it, went over the crater 3 times in all. There was some really tough days, first day was a shock with the amount of climbing, heat and wind, by it was windy. We stay on the South side in a nice big hotel. There is nothing super steep, just the climbs go on and on for hours

Bob, thanks for the ride on yesterday. You caught me a bit after I lost the group. I knew it was coming as I had struggled to stick with them on prior climbs into the volcano. It was a hell of a pace, and even with the slow putter around on the last lap I was slightly faster than my 2nd place finish on the same course back in Nov.

Reviewing ZP I'd guess that group was the slow B riders with a few C's mixed in trying to hold on such as myself. Mass starts are tough to judge. There's two races on that course today, I'll be trying to make it to one of them...
