I assume they will make a video about it, how funny would it be if they include this part.
I think a strongly worded email from someone in Team CCC to the GCN team with video evidence of their teammates poor behaviour is required....:okay:
Wait for them to post a video about it then add a tongue in cheek comment below and you might get comment of the week in the GCN show!

Did a ZHR Great Escape last night. There were three of us in the A group and, I think, six in the C group with a ten-minute head-start. It was Innsbruck KOM After Party, so there was a good chance of catching the ‘escapees’ on the climb, even if we didn’t reel them in on the circuits.

The timing information was all completely up the spout, but we seemed to be reeling them in quite rapidly. One of the other As dropped off on the last Leg Snapper, having messaged that he was toast. Then the Cs started disappearing as well…

On the climb, my fellow chaser and I started riding within ourselves. It seemed that one of the riders ahead was likely to hold us off, but he too disappeared from the timing charts with a few km to go. I put in a dig with 3km to go and distanced my companion by 15s; he came back to me but I made him work for it, and was confident by now that I could beat him in the sprint if I timed it right. I went early, then dropped 800W in a second surge, just as he was getting on terms with me, and I crossed the line well clear.

Annoyingly, everyone else had quit, and my rival wasn’t listed on ZwiftPower, so the official result make me look like a right Billy-no-mates!

Anyone done any no HUD races?

Kind of fun, ended up doing it on a course I'd never done before and therefore spent the whole race on zwiftpower live so not sure that's in the spirit of things.

I'd like to see a slightly less stripped down version that told you the incline you were on (hard to see sometimes when going uphill or downhill) and maybe a big flamme rouge banner as it was hard to know when the finish was. Otherwise fun. Towed by an A rider in a group of 10 and then a mass sprint by those of us who had a rough idea where the line was. Would be good to have a DS!

I’m looking outside and very tempted to hit the Zwift subscription again. I’ve been on Zwift a few times already using up the 25 free kilometres this last few weeks to get in a couple of sessions - going up the Alpe the stretch it out. One more session left up the sleeve before I’ll have to dig into the virtual wallet and cough up. on friday I finished off with an FTP ramp test, just to see what damage the last couple of months has done and the result wasn’t too pretty.

Al, you join a very large club be-moaning their loss of power. You could always be added to the reserves race list :okay:^_^

Good to see you back.

I use to ride 100% trainer difficulty for a long time but it didn't feel natural, so i change it to 75%. Reason why i change it was my research what i did when i ride outdoor and knowing what gear i am using with a different speed, different slope etc. I try to replicate that to indoor as well. Despite for that change it still doesn't feel exactly the same but it's much closer.
