I've painted a nice big target on @Peter Salts back for Tuesday. Revenge will be sweet 😀

Love that the trash talk has already started

Andrew was copiously sick (not related to last week’s puking) at 3:45 and, after a long and arduous clean-up, we got back to bed at 4:20. Wasn’t really likely to get back to sleep so I joined the Aussies and Japanese in Watopia…

I’m looking forward to the race on Tuesday.

Hope I cope better with it this week, though. The start is a little late for me - I end up feeling wired for hours after and can’t sleep right. Felt like it had a knock on effect for the rest of the week, to be honest. Anyone else suffer with that after a relatively late race and got any tips?

The time is a bit late for me too but I end to sleep ok. I have my tea after the race, watch TV and then end up being able to sleep about 11pm.

Same here .. I prefer to race closer to 6/6:30 so i can shower, eat and chill a bit before sleep. But, good to get a big turnout so I'll always go with the flow. Like you I can sleep anywhere, any time, so once my body cools down I can get some decent kip.

Hours of riding don't really make a difference to me. Mornings, afternoons, evenings - all seem to work and not affect my sleep. On occasions I finished sessions after 10pm and never noticed it having an impact. If anything - it actually takes me a bit longer to go to sleep on days when I'm not cycling as energy levels are higher.

As for our events - literally any time works for me.
