When you've finally decorated the kitchen, three things will happen:
1. You will be yelled at for taking too long.
2. You will be yelled at for not doing it properly.
3. You will be told "I should have got a professional in to do this seemingly easy task"

Bonus: you will think, but not say, "well why don't you bloody do it then".

Nah, not gonna happen for 2 reasons.

• I am a professional at interiors (worked as a shopfitter for 15yrs) so I know how to do it properly (and how to cut corners professionally)
• If I do get moaned at then I'll go on 'cookery duty' strike, see how long she lasts without her dinner.

To be fair though most things take me ages these days since I snapped my Femur into 3 pieces and am only capable of working for a couple of hours a day before the pain becomes un-bearable.
