Bollox. No d-locks

There may be some of the motorcycle chains left ? Bought two recently for locking the bikes at the caravan. Very good for £9.99.

My list - probably the mitts as I've worn out the others I've had previously. Probably need to get some for my son too.

The ultralight jacket's OK - very compact so ideal on longer runs as it takes up very little room in your pockets. It's not a regular use type jacket though.

hmmm, not sure if the 15L would do though?
I'd need to get trousers, t-shirt, shoes (size 9), lunch and some small bits and bobs like tools, tubes, keys, phone etc

In that case, you would struggle. Luckily, I'm able to keep shoes and trousers in work.

Yeh I can and normally do, but on the odd occasion (when i've not planned it properly) I do have to take my trousers and shoes with me...

FYI, if the rucksacks are the similar to last years, I bought one but took it back as the stitching started to go after being used once.

After actually looking around, i think im going to get a Gourdon 20 from alpkit.
Nice a simple and i'll probably velcro a small pouch at the top for keys etc

I bought an Aldi rucksack and it looks good but the base is not toughened, so I don't know how long it will last. OTOH didn't pay as much as £16 for it - less than a tenner I think.

I like the look of those tool bags for under the saddle, I need a new footpump to keep in my car, and judging by how well my Aldi winter softshell jacket has served me, one of those with removable sleeves would come in very handy.

Wonder what the shoes are like ?

Have the small rucksack from last sale; great item and recommended for £15. The dhb one linked above looks great too but doesn't come with a rain cover.

I've got one of the larger Gourdons (35l ?) and they are 100% waterproof and IME pretty much indestructible.

Will be taking a look at the softshell jackets and the shorts in Aldi

Anyone know what sort of fit the jerseys are? I'm kind of between medium and large and am going to have to send someone to get me a few jerseys on Thursday but would rather not have to buy both sizes to try only to have to take them back and someone miss out.

I am a 42" chest and the medium sizing on their tops is a nice snug fit. The large is a bit baggy on me. Just bought both sizes, tried the medium on and it is spot on. I also bought a softshell zip-off sleeve jacket which has two open & one zipped pocket at the rear, a footpump to put in the car, fingerless mitts and 2 bike tools for my kids. The tools have tyre levers and a chain breaker and are not all that heavy compared to others. £45 spent though !!
