That was quick.
BTW, I don't like your new avatar, it isn't very clear
it's clearly a spider.

Love,

what makes you think I only ride on towpaths and that my bike doesn't have clipless pedals?

Because you once posted a picture of your bike when you were asking opinions on your new childrack that bolted onto the seatpost, (which i thought wasn't the best idea, but there you go), and it clearly didn't have clipless pedals, even though you treid to claim they were clipless at the time.

I went after work. Was a fair bit still left of the accessories, but the clothing was getting thin on the ground. I was lucky that there was still a couple of the female cycling tops, and one in my size. I got the Medium (12-14) and it fits me fine, although I suspect if your a big 14 you might want to go a size up. I also got a male cycling top, took me a while to dig through all the L & XL and finally found a solitary looking Small. In orange, which was the colour I wanted (yeah!). The S fitted me fine too.

Hi Plax, sorry didn't get back to you earlier, had to unfortunately trundle off to work, but I stuck to the small men's as well, got black and the orange - the girlie ones were just to flowery, but the small men's fits fine!

well you should. What if you FALL off?
Their gloves aren't going to be comfy, really, or particularly well fitting.

Been and bought stuff twice now, you make a judgement when you get there.I've not been disapppointed with anything.

If I was bothered about falling off I'd buy a pressure suit or wear my 'Race' MTB armour. I bought the stuff to stay warm. If I fall off I damage a £15 jacket instead of a £50 one.

I find their gloves from last year very well fitting and comfortable. I bought two pairs because I thought the 'gel' padded bits in the palm would probably give up pretty quickly but the first pair is still going strong so I'm more than happy with those.

I picked up two pairs of shorts, bibs and normal, then put them back because I thought I am only buying these because they are cheap and do I really need them. Ended up coming away with just two pairs of socks instead.

my two pence:

bib shorts - fit fine and were comfy this morning on the way in. best worn with tights over the top when wandering round in them @ work though ;)

socks - the are the dog's whatsits. they last forever too.

computer - looks good, but the mph thing is a bit of a faux pas. ok for me as i ride in kmh anyway.

the saddles - comfy, but don't leave a lot of room for saddle bags etc if you have a micro seatpost (anyone here still using the old type?).

there will always be people who won't pay £5 for something when they can pay £20, but they don't shop at aldi…

Love the glasses and the water bottle and holder but not sure about the clothing. Yeah it's cheap (thanks to the poor kid in the sweat shop no doubt) but if it looks so naff I'm not actually going to wear it then think it's on it's way back.

Is anyone after some Medium (12-14) Ladies bibshorts[1]? I have two pairs that will be being returned soonish that people who missed out are welcome to for their original price plus postage at cost (or original price if you want to collect from central Manchester in the week or Crewe on the weekend).

I got the last three pairs of 8-11 sized socks in the Pitsea store yesterday at 6.45 pm (after riding through a thunderstorm which I thought was above and beyond). Two grey, one black. Which begs the question who bought all the white 8-11 socks. BTFB perhaps? He's a closet white sock wearer.;)

Actually the white socks had a nice blue top which would have matched my CC top.

Also got the Underbar (and over bar ) carrier which i thought was a bargain. Comparable bags in Evans (and some inferior ones too) cost anything between £10.00 and £20.00. Great for my extended commutes home.

I also got XL shorts but they're a bit baggy around the leg, so I probably need a Large. Anyone get a size large bib shorts? Thought about these but they generally come up small on me or I look like a gay porn star. They're marked 34"-36" and I'm a 35" waist (and reducing). There's some left so i may nip back today if anyone confirms they will fit.
