Well there's changing the whole ROM for a start. If you're an Android user, there Cyanogen Mod, MIUI et al.

Oh right, is any of that in English? I don't have a clue what any of that means. Does it help you make calls and does it make any difference to your average Joe using his/her phone?Well there's changing the whole ROM for a start. If you're an Android user, there Cyanogen Mod, MIUI et al.
Which was my point about the iPhone being a fantastic phone for the Average Joe's, who are happy with the way that Apple ship them.Does it help you make calls and does it make any difference to your average Joe using his/her phone?
Fair enoughski, although I still don't have a clue what any of the things martint235 mentions areWhich was my point about the iPhone being a fantastic phone for the Average Joe's, who are happy with the way that Apple ship them.

Like I said back in post 27 though, each to their own![]()

I havnt used Gmail yet, Im not sure what it is?
How have you changed the way your phone works?
, changed the lock screen for a better one, changed the mail and calander programs for better ones, installed custom screen icons to track some shares I am interested directly on the home screen, installed a couple of custom screen widgets to put emails and texts directly onto the home screen, I havent changed the ROM yet because this android phone is only my personal phone and I use my blackberry most of the time so I havent had the time also I dont mind the HTC layout but I will change it at some point.Oh, and I've got a spare battery for my HTC Desire. Not that I need it more than once every six months, but it's nice to be able to carry a spare which I can change in 30 seconds.Oh yes and then theres the battery life like. Because I have an HTC Wildfire and the screen is smaller than a lot of smartphones, but still big enough for the internet etc, the battery lasts for ages. I can get 3 or 4 days out of it with light use. Yesterday I was messing about with GPS programs most of the evening so the GPS was switched on most of the time which can eat batteries and the battery indicator barely even moved.

There is little profit in spare batteries.
I don't know what the phones cost but I was quoted £81 for Apple to replace the battery in the iPod shuffle.
Was it a gold plated one.
You can get a new Li-Ion shuffle battery and the tool you need to install it for less than £4 from Amazon!
Erm...yes you can, very easily. It takes about five minutes though, and I bet they'd say it voided the warranty!
