Here for rides.
Perhaps there are two Sandra Bullocks. The one who does the Hollywood blockbusters and who is somewhat and sometimes guilty of turning in performances in the way you describe. But the evidence for the defence there rests on a number of noteworthy performances including Crash and the one which deservedly won her a Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and an Oscar in The Blind Side.Same here. For an allegedly talented actress she manages to pick dull rubbish after dull rubbish and generally turns out wooden performance after wooden performance - While You Were Sleeping was her last decent display. TBH I can't understand why she is so popular. She does have a reputation of working hard, turning up on time, knowing her stuff and getting on with everyone on set, but that's no use on my side of the screen.
Then there is also the other Sandra Bullock who does indie films and art house movies and is a brilliant and deservedly popular actor with a genius for playing quirky characters.
