Didn't I? How interesting. I do hope you're not going to drag the thread to tedium by posting what you feel is 'evidence' of your sexist claim.

So that's a no then , ah well .

I should go, I suppose. I have a friend whom I hope is going, and my wife would love to go, but health problems excludes her from such activities.

Not too sure how to support such an event without actually participating. Can I do a two-line whip, and match up with a climate denier and get them to promise not to post any ill-informed rubbish important skeptical questions for the duration of, and run-up to the event?

There will be local climate action events running concurrently, with the actual COP, I know London is hosting events.

I'm sure Birmingham, if that where you are , will be too.

In fact you're not far from Coventry.

There's a big sustainability dept at the Uni there..

Might be worth a look..:okay:

I won’t be joining you, Mudders. But good luck. I love parts of the west coast of Scotland. I do hope you get some cycling time while there.

Combine business with pleasure..??

You'd never catch me doing that...

So you thought you’d derail a perfectly good thread instead.

I think he was temporarily interested.

Then move (z)wiftly to disinterested.

So no skin in the game whatsoever.

And we mustn't argue, or be bad-tempered here dear .

That's not Cafes style

That's the UN climate change conference for those not quite up to speed.

2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference https://g.co/kgs/WfJEAD

I'll most likely be going as part of a civil society, 'sustainable' agriculture group I'm involved in.

Anyone else actively attending ??
Will you be travelling there on a sustainable lettuce?

If I can find such an item, then definitely.

Although I feel a marrow would-be more robust and accomodating.

Failing that, it's the train - as I detailed above.

But I know - that would have required that you read the thread..:okay:

I think her being a young girl with issues is convenient for some people, but probably not in the way you mean. I don't know anyone that she 'gets the wind up', be they male or female. :okay:
We've done the Greta topic in great detail quite recently:

Within 10 posts (at most) all the predictable opinions have been voiced. It makes a good primer on the CycleChat spectrum of views 👍
