Not all auction cars are duds
Mr M leased his last car and has ordered his next lease vehicle.
His current car “Wee Jimmy” almost 3 years old hit the 20k “mile”stone last week.
Well kept, barely a scratch inside or out.
Was sad to hear WJ will be uplifted soon to the car auction, a wee bargain for someone.
Would be interested to see the see the auction price.

Price will be reduced by 20% as the car was named, it's a shame really because obviously an inanimate object, like a car, doesn't care. However potential buyers think, if they're weird enough to name a car then what else might they have done. A bit irrational but creeped out is creeped out and it hurts the price.

Nobody at the auction will know his name
Lease company selling the car so price won’t matter to us.

Also, take the dip stick out and look at the colour of the oil. Dirty oil just means it needs an oil change, If the dip stick has the off white emulsion on it, then possibly a head gasket fault as water is getting into the oil.

Miss Goodbody is good at pistons and things. She once diagnosed a blown gasket for the Vicar, when she found a white emulsion his dipstick.

I remember someone actually using the trolly bay of a supermarket as somewhere to park their car a couple of Christmases ago when the car park was full.

Someone did that near us. The trolley chaps got their revenge by chaining trollies all round the car and going off for a break. The manager was not overly sympathetic when the customer complained.

Found it, it was in Nuneaton just up the road from us.

Buy on condition and service history. If it's not recorded in the paperwork, assume it didn't happen. Don't believe any sob stories about profit etc. Not all dealers are liars, but most are extremely good at telling you what you want to hear. Good luck

Seems a nice clean car and it did everything smoothly and properly.
Got......
A bit off the price.
New battery
Full 12 month mot
New wheel trims.
Bank of Grandad helped out and we have a very happy 19 year old grandson
