Never a dull moment, by Roderick. Still a favourite and the eldest borrowed it when he left home 20 years ago.

One of the greatest Rock albums ever made.
I was in Berlin on Wednesday to see the reformed band perform.
Startgazer was simply fantastic.

First single I ever bought was when I was about 8 and there was a jumble sale on at the church hall across the road. For some reason I spent my 6d pocket money on this.

It came out before I was born but I've been a lifelong fan of westerns and liked the title of this. Still love to hear it on the rare occasion it crops up.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Now we are talking proper music.

T Rex - after Marc Bolan dropped the Tyrannosaurus and picked up his electric guitar - was my first favourite band.

I'm fairly sure the first LP I bought was Electric Warrior.

Only five tracks a side - according to wiki.

I thought there were a few more than that.

Your right there. ^_^. It was proper music. And i was quite taken with him at the time.

Not sure if it was my first single, but I remember buying this one, I would have been about 7 in 1983.
My parents have loved listening to this played over and over again.

I've known the vocalist Pete 'Zulu' Robson on and off for about the last 20 years, although according to wiki he left the Dolls not long after they were formed.

Zulu latterly worked as a chef, and achieved a bit of national notoriety when he abused a customer who insulted his culinary art by demanding chips.

That was when he was working at the restaurant in the National Glass Centre in Sunderland, and for some reason the exchange made the papers.
