My problem also.

To Victoria there are about three trains an hour, although one of those is quite close to an other, and takes longer (it stops a lot more). Realistically it's effectively two an hour, more trains if you don't mind ending up at London Bridge instead of Victoria.

It's only an hours journey, so unless you travels at the London end are a long way, or you take a very long time over your breakfast, or we have an awful lot of problems getting to Brighton, it would be hard not to be back by 1pm.

(Just had a quick look, and if you trying to get to Chelmsford, you could get there one minute after 1pm if you left at 10-49. This would be a pretty relaxed time to leave Brighton at).

London Bridge is ideal.

Simon, please add me to the list.

I would like to have ridden back, but must be home a.s.a.p. that Saturday and need to be on best behaviour to get a visa for the mid-July North Essex Beach Frenzy ride. ;)

Sounds like a challenge ;)

Just seen Davywalnuts BTW - wishes he was 'here'. I had just been to Terminal 3 to drop some stuff off to someone, (First time I have cycled through the little tunnels either side of the big one - great fun! Fast too.) and he was returning home, sporting glossy shorts (well, I think they were just 'glossy').

Don't forget the cake Chris - and make sure there are no candles on it.

We don't want any problems on reaching 'Gateau wick'...

I've sent my visiting card to Simon.

My chums the Jan the Cheating Czech and Scott, who has his name on his top tube, should also be making an appearance.

I'd have thought so. We should be in Brighton by 8. If you skip brekky you would be back in London by 9.30

Brighton 8.04 to London Bridge 9.02
Brighton 8.07 to London Bridge 9.17
Brighton 8.19 to Victoria 9.12
Brighton 8.34 to London Bridge 9.32
Brighton 8.37 to London Bridge 9.47
Brighton 8.49 to Victoria 9.40
Brighton 8.55 to Victoria 10.09

and so on....

... that's another reason why I like the Brighton run, I can be back home less than 45 minutes after getting on a train!
