My understanding that is SRAM medium road mechs will only take an 11-32.
Don’t know for sure but I’m not going to buy a cassette, new chain and get LBS to fit for couple more gears I don’t need to find out it doesn’t work.

Oh, agreed, little point if usage will be low. Me, I need every tooth I can squeeze on there...

Even at £5 these are very good value, but CRC have them down to £2. That's 4 long cuttable soft grips with bar ends for two quid. I have them on my fat bike H bars, both tandems stoker bars, hybrid loop bars and on the kids bikes, so safe to say that I like them. Super comfy and cheap to replace.

Desperately need to find an excuse not to buy this. Please help.

At 6' tall, I'm looking at 'large' size which is happily not available, but given that I have short legs for my height, surely 'XL' would be suitable too? And it is available....

they had microshift 8 speed cassettes and sram chains so cheap i ordered 2 of each and some brake pads so thats the commuter sorted for a bit
