Maybe the price is reflected in the quality not only the retro-ness (and the brand). Most Rapha designs aren't exactly modern but owners rate them on their quality-price ratio

They are very nice... but I would never pay full price for one as you can get 100% merino for less.

I did however pick up the Italia one for the equivalent of 35GBP at ASAdventure here in Belgium but I do not think they ship to the UK.
