Just been to a local Aldi (Beverley) & the merino blend cycling socks were reduced to 99p from a fiver. My wife bought the last 3 pairs of size 4-7, but there were a few of the larger sizes left, maybe worth looking at your local store if you need some warmer socks

Was in Aldi other day and still a great stack of the back-wheel-off-ground repair stands for £1.99.

Recommended - through gritted teeth as I paid a lot more - and as before, curiously, they were quoting a full price way under what I paid.
