I had actually reserved a pair in my local Halfords and paid for them only to be called 10 minutes later by a staff member saying that none were available in store and she checked the main warehouse too which had none for her to order so may be luck of the draw in local stores.

The Matalan one's look to get fairly mixed reviews so I'll pass.

That's really good value, and Merlincycles are normally pretty reliable.

The video on their site is filmed around Preston too, I'd recognise that bus station anywhere!
