Not exactly a bargain but worth a mention. Halfords advertise their GT85 for £3.09 on the web. In store it's £5. If you have your smartphone with you and show them the online price that's what you pay in store. [As at August 4th 2025]

No, they will no match their web site prices on store but will give you the item in store bought online if you order it to collect.

Our local Halfords will match their website..or any other site providing you show them the evidence ie on your phone. They had a sticker on the customer side of the till saying same. I literally googled the chain I wanted in front of them and they match the cheapest.

Nice !

Is that offer price online: being honoured instore - the same with any item do you know ?

A while back one of the staff said if they show it online at one price and offer it at another in store they'll honour the online price. So far I've tried it on a Shimano chain and cans of GT85 but I'm not sure if they'd do the same for an expensive socket set for example but you never know 👍

Matched their online price for me the other day, when online was showing £7.60 or something and in store was £12 for a 610ml Camelback Podium bottle

I went to Halfords today to collect my click-collect High5 tablets at £4.39 a tube online v 7.99 in store. I didn't ask about the match it policy cos it was busy but I phot'd the sticker on the till.
Pretty sure it never used to exclude internet and mail order but I think it does include prices at other stores quoted on the other stores website.

Always worth asking

Maxxis International have a 'limited time' half price sale on most of their parent companys CST Tyres.
Of particular note to me are the Xpedium Protection Level tyres with a mix of aramid and nylon for puncture protection 7.
They resist punctures and sharp object penetration extremely well, at least in my experience. There is lots of claimed high end stuff for very little cash there.

i use the cito tyres on the summer bike as they seem to go well enough for the price
