Great. They want £19 to deliver to my nearest store?
That’ll be because they don’t do “logistics”,
Sports direct use third parties such as QXO logistics.

These logistics firms do the last bit of processing from the shipping container to the store, often tagging up goods and packing in cardboard boxes, cellophane etc and often providing a bit of short term storage space for Fraser Group.

The Fraser Group is recovering the 3party cost plus a margin with the shipping charges which is why it is high.

£1219. Still cheapest anywhere. As 'stuff shifters' at least they are still supplying decent bikes.
Their best offers do not last long.

Screw Evans they said they couldn’t true a carbon wheel but the LBS managed to. Just didn’t know what they were doing. All their stock is over priced junk.

I consider Evans/Sports Direct/House of Fraser/Wiggle a means to an end. If they have what I want at a price that pleases me I’ll use them, grudgingly. Whilst I hate giving them money, sometimes they have genuine bargains or stock that isn’t available elsewhere. I’ll exhaust all other options before going to them though, including using them for price matching elsewhere.

I understand some of the flak Evans/SD get. I ordered 2 bikes last year in their sale and whilst there was a day or two's delay in the delivery and tracking was useless, the bikes were such a bargain (one Whyte ebike & Forme MTB) and any hassle was quickly forgotten. Personally I'm happy to pay £20 to get a bike delivered. In fact I've paid 5x that once.
