Guy Martin keeps trotting out the same excuses to the courts and they still find it credible.

This hardship crap pppps me off. If it is so important do not be a dick behind the wheel.

I did read that which you had written.

I then, quite correctly, pointed out that it was Martin's own fault that were in a position that he felt it necessary to sway the Court in the first place.

No one is trying to misrepresent that which you have written. Rather, I was responding quite politely to that which you had written.

It's a little unfair to keep posting this in every Guy Martin thread I come across. But it's a cycling forum, we don't like speeders and his testimonial (he's top of the list as he's a sleb) probably gives an indication of what the "real" GM is like

http://www.keepmeontheroad.co.uk/testimonials/

"I recently used Anton to defend me on my speeding case. It was going to be a difficult one having argued exceptional hardship twice in the last 18 months. Anton put together a novel argument outlining the impact of a driving ban on television production companies and charitable organisations with which I work. The court accepted the argument and I escaped a driving ban. When it comes to driving offences, as a professional motorcycle racer and lorry driver I would not hesitate to recommend Anton and his team.’ – Guy Martin, Road Racer, Engine Builder, Professional Pistonhead and Star of film and TV, Lincolnshire"

TMN to @glasgowcyclist of course
The odd thing is, he is a very good amateur cyclist. But also a bit of a nobber.
He has no excuse to keep getting caught speeding.

Here for rides.
I have to disagree with you, never met him, but he did his Wall of Death at his sisters pub earlier in the year, my daughter & son in law took our grandson, he is enthralled by Guy & his love of the Vulcan, after he'd done his stint on the bike he came out to talk to people, he got my grandson on the platform & talked to him for ages about them. There are many many celebs who wouldn't have done that.
Likely he is kind to animals too.

But as a road user his conviction record, and his pleading, speak volumes.

I agree with you , he seems genuinely enthusiastic in the things he does and also seems to make time for the fans.
A of of his challenges have required a lot of physical effort and training on his behalf and has done things which a lot of people would never attempt.
