I find riding without gloves scary!
I've done it a few times when I forgot them, and definitely feels weird, I felt like my hands were naked!
Maybe I'll keep them, they did save my hands from road rash when I fell off last year.
I just stopped wearing my helmet too and that has taken some getting used to :/

It's just as hot here in Toronto, Canada as it is in the UK at the moment. I personally love it except when I'm trying to sleep! Riding has been better for me also with my old knees really enjoying the warmth.

After wearing a suit forced me on to the bus, I realised today that I feel a hell of a lot cooler when I'm on the bike than when I'm off it because of the wind in my face. It's only when I go back indoors after a ride that heat becomes a problem.

I've just started cycling again this week, I've been going out between 11.30am and 1pm, usually when its hotest, in a pair of roubaix full length bib tights! I'm doing better than I thought I would being such a big bloke, I cant stand the heat at all but it doesnt seem to effect me when I'm out on the bike for some reason

Just hit 27c in my living room, 26c in the bedroom. No cycling today!

As soon as it stops going up I'll open the front south windows and get some airflow, might not cool down but it'll feel a bit better hopefully.

Bring it on I say.

Only issue I have with warm weather is beasties increase and must close mouth

Bloody heck, yeah! Three went in my mouth on yesterday's ride before I spat them out.

Love it. Day before yesterday went for a walk, after a few miles thought "maybe I should be brought along a bottle of water" and by 8 miles was thinking "next time I will bring along a bottle of water". Just love the warm weather.

Never in my life been too hot (excluding artificial heat sources), and that includes a fair time travelling in tropics. One day in India waiting for bus schedule to move on so decided to go look round local zoo so walked hotel to zoo and back and hotel manager asked how I got there in the heat and when I said I walked he swore and "nobody does that!".

If I hadn't been working, yeah I'd have been outside. Ive run out of energy by the end of the day though.

Hottest I've experienced was an Indian Summer in Cyprus in Sept 2022. Got upto 35 or 36. The hottest day I chose to explore a big Roman ruin and was absolutely knackered at the end.

"How am I coping with the heat"? What heat? When it's not peeing down it's just a bit warm here. Really a disappointing summer so far. April was better than June.
