Peaked at 27.2c in living room, windows now open for the breeze.

Porch went over 36c with the doors and windows open, dread to think what would get it to if I left them closed.

Sensible precautions today - took the absolute bare minimum to work (water, laptop, lunch) and jettisoned all the flotsam out of my bag.

Also took a different bike to usual because it's uphill on the way home (peak heat) and I wanted lower gears so I could put in the smallest amount of effort. And wore a cap and sunscreen.

In the end it wasn't so bad.

I think I should have gone into the office today as it is air conditioned, next hot day I'm doing that.

Goodness, is it really that hot down South?

My boiler thermostat, currently in the living room, says 20.5C.
I've got several windows open but I'm wearing a thin fleece over a tee shirt.

I suspect not quite that hot, probably due to full sun on sensor.
I was in Glasgow on Saturday night and there were people sat outside bars and pubs drinking and I don’t think they were just being hard.🤣🤣🤣
