Dont deny yourself. Let the music take you.
I did sit through a Spanish Bee Gees tribute act while on holiday in the Canary Islands a few years ago. I am unsure whether this was preferable to the real thing.

The Bee Gees , no problem with me , late seventies , we used to go clubbing every night till 2 in the morning , get up at 7 and go to work !
except sundays , that was 12 ! ,

I used to knock about with Jolene , From S, Carolina , I saw Sat Night Fever in Manchester with her then off into club land , The Conti and Kloisters were good for boppin !!

Conti club. There speaks a man of experience.

I used to work with a Bobby who was absolutely nuts for them. He had a business on the side trading memorabilia, made enough to pay for a posh holiday each year.

Not my cup of tea, but I can't deny they were very good.

Same era: ELO, 10CC

I never replaced my 10cc greatest hits CD after one of the kids stuck it down the handbrake slot while I was driving. I went to take the handbrake off and it jammed. With horror I realized it was my 10cc album and it was break it in two or await the next long phase of the traffic lights and suffer the ire of everyone behind. The album lost.

i didnt say the Bee Gees did soul. They did disco. They make your body move. No two ways about it.

They didn't get all disco until Trafalgar or Mr Natural which was like their tenth album. The Bee Gees had a varied history before they hit it big. They were almost Prog Rock until the 70s.

They looked like right berks when they stropped off the Clive Anderson show though.
