Barry Gibb hasn't joined his brothers has he?

Hope not.

Not really my thing music wise, but yes they are / were very good.

By chance, my wife usually has R2 on in her car, I heard 20 minutes of a recent programme of Bee Gees originals or covers.

I didn't enjoy their music at the time but it was only while listening to the above I realised how truly awful they were. Really awful. Very successful though.

We could remember Barry and Robin's names but not the other one.

Brilliant stuff from a much missed Kenny Everett.
Yes, he was a funny guy, I enjoyed watching his shows (even though searching the internet for when the shows were aired has suddenly made me aware of my age). We miss you, Captain Kremmen!

They just played You Win Again on the local radio. Again, not my cup of tea, but a catchy tune that had me thumping along to the beat with my tea spoon. I'd never buy their stuff, bit I'd certainly turn the radio up when it comes on.

I suspect Dan Bo loves the Bee Gees as I do Jethro Tull/Ian Anderson.

Dont remember Quaffers , but in the 70,s there were clubs in almost every cellar in town !
in the early 80's I spent a lot of time in Cellar Vie 2 , they were magical nights for us ,

The Bee Gees were undoubtedly extremely talented and creative.
I quite liked some of their earlier stuff but any of their later stuff, with the stupid falsetto voices, just makes me laugh.....I mean, really.

........Yeah.....right.....

Didn't really appreciate them until I learned the chords for How Deep Is Your Love - very satisfying structure and harmonies.

I'd rather see Metallica though.
