Music without soul isn't music. It's just noise. But Disco still isn't soul.
I saw that at the time, I thought it was good they did so and I admired them for it, Anderson was a right twat.
That's not something unique to that Bee Gees interview though is it?

Does anyone remember when night clubs were called Disco's?
I went in Poco a couple of times , not sure about Oasis , Oceans 11 comes to mind , but my first haunts in Town were Spring Gardens , Top of the Town , Mr Smiths , Tiffanys, The Bossa Nova
Barons Beer Keller , and a host of others , all when I was 16-17 !!
One record I remember them playing in there was, Black is Black by Los Bravos, always on. Met a lovely girl in there that I went out with for a long time. Silver mini dress and long dark hair. She worked in Lewis's. Ahhh.. The memories.Yep , and personally , I never ever used the D word !
Clubbin' is how we described a night on the floor , the first club I went in was Top of the Town , Manchester , 1969 , a lot of Motown was played in there ,
Discotheque Royale
...and wasn't Mr Smith's in Warrington, or was that a different Mr Smith's ?
