I know the purists here will probably shoot me down in flames:laugh:

But, after years and years of eating plain porridge made with either water or milk, I`m sick to death of it. I want to go on eating the stuff because it`s healthy. How does everybody else make it a bit more interesting??

I`m open to any ideas!

How much does it cost to Oldham?
Put some garlic and curry powder in it.

Just started eating porridge again as part of my new years health regime, probably too soon to be bored of it yet.
I just use milk and add some honey to sweeten, may try a few slices of banana.

I make porridge in the microwave with milk and mix up some vanila flavour protein powder and pour a little in to the porridge and add a banana or some berries

I make mine with water, because milk is for softies. I then add some milled linseed and goji berries, because I'm all middle-class and that. From Aldi, because I'm tight.

(and I end up eating the same cereal as the kid at least twice a week - Crunch Nut Cornflakes and Mini Shredded Wheat this morning)

Nuts. Dried fruit and berries. Dessicated coconut. Muscovado sugar. Probably lots of other things but cooking is a bit of a spontaneous what's-to-hand affair chez moi.
