How edumacated are you?

9 O grades and 3 Highers, then on to do a BA in what I hoped was fine art.
But the head (neep) of fine art did not like my style so onto design but not to my liking left in year 3.
Secured my current job, bought my first home, met Mr M and all good from there on.
No regrets.

4 CSEs in English, Motor Vehicle Craft Studies, Physics and Metalwork... I've since put two GCSEs under my belt; English and Sociology.

If I had a degree I'd probably have felt I had to get a proper job, as it was I fell out with education part way through my ALevels and have done as I please ever since.
Saying I regret it would be like saying I regret having my gorgeous children and spending my time at home with them.

I must admit despite the fact I wasted my time at school I am very pleased our 3 sons have all used school time far better. 2 with maths degree's one of them a masters as well. The middle son is a very highly qualified plumber who now enjoys living down in the South of France.

Even better is all 3 enjoy riding bikes.

BSc MBA PhD FCIPD FHEA........but my proudest achievement is my Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage (all done by correspondence course)

Did my CPC three yrs ago, when I thought my career change would take me into logistics. I loved the 2 week course. Now in HR and have never used it. Still regret not following a logistic path.

I can assure you that's not necessary. By now I'm not even sure it's possible.

I'm a bit like @User259, only even more of a slacker. It took me four years to fail to get around to finishing a PhD. Or even starting it in earnest, if I'm honest. But it was nice being able to get so many library books out at once.
