How many Brooks saddles to you own?

As I write the title of this thread the thought of people replying "NONE, I hate those damn things....." brings a smile to my face lol

I just ordered my 5th saddle, this time is the flyer. The love affair started with a Team Pro.....

1st - Team Pro
2nd - B17 Champion
3rd - B17
4th - B67
5th - Flyer

I love them all but the B17s are my favourites I guess.

Only one problem, I only have 3 bikes ...... love to get another bike but that would get me into trouble with the wife

I have a love/hate relationship with my Brooks, I love the way it looks, but after 26,000 miles it still a pain-in-butt after 50 miles, why I don't know, but I don't know what to replace it with.

1 x Wrights WC3N (which is really a downmarket version of the B17)


My favourite is the the Wrights, my least favourite is the B15 which seems too hard, despite copious leather treatments.

Does it make a different having different saddles?
how comfy are they?
how do you choose between them?

1 Brooks Competition that I pinched 25 years ago from my brothers Carlton Corsa. I put a cheap leather saddle on his bike in it's place as he didn't ride any more.

His bike has spent the last 10 years in his garage and I might make him an offer for it soon if he is still not using it. If I do get it I'll get another Brooks.

Two flyer specials, one for each bike.

I have a non-working MTB but it does not have a saddle, yet, not worth putting a Brooks on it as it will eventually be a snow bike so rarely used.
