We're all different, and success is very subjective. All I want is enough money to make me comfortable and not have to worry about the bills or where the next meal is coming from. I've got all that, plus enough left over for some toys to play with, so I've no complaints.
Wealth on a Beckham-esque scale would surely bring with it it's own problems and pressures, and what can they possibly do with it all anyway?
Living life in the spotlight is something else that they are more than welcome too. I couldn't be arsed being photographed all the time, despite my impeccable looks, and having people discussing my life all over the media.
Their lifestyle wouldn't suit me either.
A bit more coin might be nice, but not at the cost of the public scrutiny.
I assume they could afford to retire and live quietly, but obviously don't want to.
Victoria might not want the business to keep on growing, but my understanding is it's hard to stand still in any big business and just keep it ticking over - you have to keep driving it forward.
I've known a couple of business owners who, believe it or not, feel a heavy responsibility for the staff and to keep paying them.
That may - or may not - be a part of Victoria's motivation.
