Anyone I've heard saying we should stop putting the clocks forward/back isn't old enough to remember the years we didn't do it.
I remember it and I thought it was great.

I forgot as well. I remembered when @PaulSB mentioned the clocks being put back. I hope he wasn't too late two hours too late for his ride!

Thanks but I got it right, though I might have been better getting it wrong.

58 miles, 7000 feet including Holme Moss and Cragg Vale (longest continuous gradient in England). Breakfast at Sid’s in Holmfirth - the cafe in Last of the Summer Wine.

Doesn’t happen often but tonight I’m broken.

Accy it is April next month. Just a heads up in case it is not on the Ten O'Clock news.

When I was in Iceland in January it wasn’t getting light until 10am. The local school kids seemed to manage.

Imagine what it must be like going to school in northern Norway in winter!

I overhears someone's conversation last night, regarding holidays in Scandinavia. One woman said that Norway has a much greater suicide rate than Britain because they have much shorter daylight in the winter months. Yes but they have much longer daylight in the summer months,so that should balance it up, i thought. I didn't say anything as she didn't look the type that liked to be corrected.
