I called NHS 24 but apparently at this time of day my gp is responsible for my care so will need to visit the surgery for advice as I think the swelling is getting worse just above my knee.

Ice it and get it up above your heart while you wait. Don’t take any anti inflammatory tho :smile:

i can’t see why you can’t go to A&E (given you’ve clearly had an A ;))

GP will likely just send you there anyhow unless s/he has xray vision ;)
I doubt you’ll actually get a F-F appointment with GP, but due to Covid triage it’ll be a (video) call

A&E was the last place I really wanted to go but I might just have to.
