I no longer believe in Father Christmas, so I have been forced to buy myself several cycling-related presents just to avoid disappointment.

Last night my OH told me he's been too busy to buy me a Christmas present (which he has, I' 've been taking a lot of looking after since I came out of hospital and he he hasn't taken any time off work.)

Ho Hum, got a special birthday coming up in January, lets hope he finds time to do some retail therapy before then!

Well I didnt do too bad! A garmin 705, taster session at the Manchester velodrome, new light weight jacket and skull cap, Pendleton and Wiggins books. Extremely chuffed.

I wanted a new track pump. I got a bag thing that sits on the top tube strapped to the head tube.

I guess she remembers me buying a new winter bike :-)

Maybe I should have bought the same colour bike as my old one and kept quiet.

I got a helmet cam that I desperately wanted, but didn't feel I could justify buying because it's a pure luxury item for me. I'd never even mentioned it to my OH, so she must be psychic!
