Strange thread this but I bet it resonates with outdoorsy types.
I'm just starting getting back into angling after a couple of decades of inactivity. Needless to say I no longer have all my old go to angling thermals which I used to rely on to keep warm back in the day.
Lightbulb moment! Why don't I layer up with my cycling gear. I went fishing yesterday with my cycling base layers, skull cap under my hat, leg warmers under my pants and cycling socks! And over the coming cooler months my thermal cycling gloves will come in handy too!
Who knows, I might even start taking my bike with me. Then if the fish aren't biting I can go for a ride!! Lol.
