Circumnavigated the Baie de la Somme, 40km. Wind was against me going and vanished on the return.
An awful lot of weight advantages grey types on ill fitting Ebikes in my opinion. In my way too!
The increased mileage and re-calibration of my calorie intake in the past month or so has yielded a 3 kg weight drop.

Well done! That's quite an achievement.

I have been successful in changing my "in person" appointment at the Hopsital to a Telephone Call.

Why would I want to spend a Friday afternoon getting to, waiting in, answering a few questions, and getting back from a Hopsital when I am feeling not well?

We have moved on we are now in Pousada,, de Viana do Castelo.,and very nice it is.But it is so far up a hill we need the coach to get out.So apart from planned trips we are stuck here, mind you it is a very nice relaxing stuck here, and as a bonus three meals and three breakfasts are provided, and i bet they will be as good as all the others, this is a superb holiday.I must say this our room has the loudest largest pink background and white flowers i have ever seen.it is really weird,in a nice kind of weird. But at home it would be stripped off the walls.

WAH disrurbed by a fully complete again Tesco delivery.
Feeling a touch better managed a Co-op / in store Post Office trek at lunchtime.
Much needed as I have had a parcel to return since the beginning of last week
Co-op annoyingly had to clear stickers on Freefrom Muesli, of which the last two were bought, and also that nice orange juice of which they had none.
Cannot find anyone else who stocks it and now a search for museli that isn't full of sugar

It's been a warm, breezy and mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well. A gentle yet choresy morning was had. Put away all my kit from Saturday and laundered my white coat. Checked through my apple stores, picked tomatoes, that sort of stuff.

Had a lovely luncheon of wholegrain seeded baguette filled with meatloaf, an apple, the very last greengages and a :cuppa:

Did some supper prep after, then took myself off for a bicycular bimble. In the company of Rocky the Hardtail, I explored a byway I'd never been down before. Furlong drove spits me out onto A Furlong near the railway sidings. And then I returned home via Seventh and Main Droves. It was a challenging ride, with bare soil, a lot of draggy grass and big ruts and holes filled with cobbles, and it was satisfying to navigate it without coming a cropper.

I now have a saddle and some shifters to fit to the bike, but it will likely be Wednesday before I can get to my LBS to pick up some cables. In the mean time, I can cope with the rear gears jumping, because I know it's temporary. Then all I'll need are some mudguards and a news set of grips. Not sure the ones on currently will survive being removed in order to fit the new shifters.

I still have some kitchen stuff to do, but a nice quiet evening is planned.

The ideal way to fit grips is to use Hairspray, helps them to slide on then sets in half an hour or so
