It's been a warm, breezy and mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept well. A gentle yet choresy morning was had. Put away all my kit from Saturday and laundered my white coat. Checked through my apple stores, picked tomatoes, that sort of stuff.

Did some supper prep after, then took myself off for a bicycular bimble. In the company of Rocky the Hardtail, I explored a byway I'd never been down before. Furlong drove spits me out onto A Furlong near the railway sidings. And then I returned home via Seventh and Main Droves. It was a challenging ride, with bare soil, a lot of draggy grass and big ruts and holes filled with cobbles, and it was satisfying to navigate it without coming a cropper.
I now have a saddle and some shifters to fit to the bike, but it will likely be Wednesday before I can get to my LBS to pick up some cables. In the mean time, I can cope with the rear gears jumping, because I know it's temporary. Then all I'll need are some mudguards and a news set of grips. Not sure the ones on currently will survive being removed in order to fit the new shifters.
I still have some kitchen stuff to do, but a nice quiet evening is planned.
