You can also add loyalty card, event tickets (cinema, theatre etc) boarding Passses. It only works if offered by the supplier but more and more do these days.

That's why I initially started using it, as EasyJet stopped storing boarding passes on their own app. Having harrumphed about it at first, I've come to really appreciate it, as it saves me getting twitchy about having to back up all my travel bits & pieces. It's a clever app.

Given the state of my Co-Op card it was a good job my phone could read the bar code.

The Co-Op nearest me has their scanners in an awkward place, its a struggle to get the phone in place. Not that their woeful vouchers are worth it and since they stopped the 10% student discount they're really a last chance saloon to buy anything.

There are apps available for iOS, Pass2U Wallet, is the one I use, that allow you to add things to the Apple Wallet that aren’t natively supported by the supplier. I have a mix of 20 bank and loyalty cards in my Apple Wallet at the moment.
