Neglecting my car

I feel guilty, I have just given my bike a hard ,dirty ride to coventry and back, only to come home and wash it all off with soapy water, in full view of my car, whom I barely give a second glance, and remains covered in grime, I swear she had tears in her eyes!!
Maybe will treat her to a car wash & Wax before xmas.

It's true that my bikes get far more attention than the car but then I love my bikes but only need the car.

I have a lovely old classic sports car that has had a rust hole in the cill all year . I keep looking at it thinking I'll get a roundtuit .

mind you my bike is looking very folorn in the kitchen still covered in dried mud from yesterday's ride

over 1500 miles since july on the bike. Just over 500 in the car (380 of those to Stanstead airport and back)

Car currently coated in that Very Special Paste that is produced by a combination of road salt, general muck, and fallout.

All 4 bikes sparkling in the garage, while car shivers outside on the driveway...

I never clean my bikes - that's what you have employees and a jet wash for.

I do occasionally clean my Capri.

I clean my bikesm and yesterday I even cleaned the cars - all three of them. But I leave my dad to do the MK1 escort mexico, as that's his baby.

I clean the car weekly and if the bike is dirty do it at the same time. 20 mins max thinking about it takes longer than getting on with the job. I like gleam

Car gets washed nearly every week. Bikes are washed after every outing apart from the commuter hack which will maybe get washed once a month but hosed down after a salty gritty commute

I still clean my car every week - it get's used at weekends only..... although both are overdue an oil change (Xmas break job) but both cars have run on synthetic oil for some time.... My car hasn't done many miles this year - maybe 3k.... down from 18k.....

Both cars got a quick upholstery wipe over.... and a trim clean.... this weekend
