You're right they are such a waste (of money). Their prices are well North of stupid.
In respect of their cost, I cannot disagree with you.
I have a 600 Diversion, so I clicked 'like' because I really enjoy motorbikes! I recently got a work lease car, and they were umming and ahhing over my request for a lease bike (a nice big tourer BMW or something), sadly though our lease company don't do them.

I have several mates who have various VFR varients, loevly bike to ride in my experience. Enjoy :okay:
I used to have a 600 Divvy (yours isn't K311NSL is it?) then 2x 900 Divvies. There is a Diversions forum which I used to be quite active on (now back under a different guise) here.
It's not nearly as active a site as it once was (I posted similar re new bike on there and so far no replies, whereas on a cycling forum it's on page 2 already; that should tell us something).

I stopped biking last year and all motorcycling forums were dying on their backsides, reflecting the lack of participation in powered two wheelers today. Ten years back a couple of sites I belonged to were as busy as this one is.

Uhhhhh; WTF, hold that deal!!
I just happened to look at the dealers website, and here is the photo of the bike I have just paid a deposit on ......

Now is it just me, or is it the photo; but that bike clearly looks as if it has been on it's side. There appears to be damage to the lower fairing with red scuff marks around one of the mounting bolts; and possibly to the front mudguard, and the lower corner of the petrol tank - although that could be the showroom lighting. It wasn't like that this afternoon, and the seller assured me it had been HPI checked and was not the subject of any insurance claims (obviously that can be true if the damage was fixed without involving insurance). However questions are going to be asked in any case, and being a deeply suspicious person I might not believe the answers. If the bike is damaged, WHY photograph it like that and put the photo on a "For Sale" advert??
The initial  is now fast becoming :cursing:.
@glasgowcyclist @vernon @mustang1 @User76 @Oldbloke @Smokin Joe @HertzvanRental and any other bikers; what's the verdict?

It's a thirteen year old bike and I suspect that most machines of that age have kissed tarmac at some time. The damage looks very minor and provided it rides ok I would put up with a couple of slight scuffs. You won't know the extent till you see it in the flesh again.

I am 100% sure I would have noticed that damage this afternoon if it had been there; but it wasn't. Therefore I am assuming it has been resprayed or somehow repaired. I appreciate you might be looking at the photo on a smaller device, but it looks to me to be more than just a regular scuff. More like it's been down the road albeit at low speed.

The engine cover looks unmarked as do the bar end and brake lever. It's possible those would have been replaced and I would certainly take a closer look, but apart from the scuff marks the fairing looks fairly true. Maybe scraped along a wall when manouvering?

See what the dealer has to say.

I made a conscious check of the bar ends and levers, as that is always the first signs of a spill, as you know, and they are all fine. There were some superficial scrapes on the right hand mirror, but again that is quite normal from manoeuvring too close to walls. They are closed tomorrow so I will call on Thursday; it's too far away to visit again!

I'm going dodgy showroom lighting / reflections but I'm looking at it on a phone.

Bought my GSX-R600 off a mate, it was in great condition when he bought it, unfortunately while he owned it someone reversed into it knocking it over which cream crackered one side and he had a very low speed spill pulling out of his drive knackering the other side. Both caused a heck of a lot more scuffing to fairings than that.

If that is damage I would guess it's very minor and may have been dropped by the rider losing balance taking it off the stand or losing footing.

Big scratches would scrape through to bare plastic which is usually black/white. It also seems a strange place for localised damage too, if it'd been on its side I would assume the worst damage would be where you can see the swing arm of another bike reflected on the side fairing. At least that's where most damage seems to be on my old fairings & on used eBay spares.

Looks like a cracking bike, always liked the look of a VFR. ^_^

I agree that it looks like reflections, possibly of tail lights of some other vehicle behind the photographer. Also, if it had been dropped, I'd have expected other areas of the fairing that are more proud to have shown damage. And I know when I dropped my Bandit, the paint quickly scored away to reveal jet black plastic underneath.
