No, I've gone for black bar tape with orange edging. There's a link to it earlier on in the thread. That's the only job left to do once it's been delivered.Orange bar tape?

It was actually a lot easier than I thought it was going to be, I never in a million years thought I'd be 99% finished by now. And believe me, if I can do it, anyone can.
Now, what can I build next? I've always fancied a tree house.
The blinking thing wouldn't fit! A completely wasted journey in the end (apart from picking up a new pair of shorts).
And thanks, I do love the colour myself. I'll post a picture later of what inspired me.

Many thanks though , I wouldn't be sat here lovingly gazing at it if wasn't for you. You inspired me to give it a bash even though I had absolutely no clue what I was doing. It truly is amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it.

If I did that it'd probably end up being one of the most expensive parts I've bought.Not a problem,

Well...... if you hadn't cannibalised the mop.......
You did the work! And the real advantage (in my humble) is that when you set off touring, you're not going to be fearing any technical issues. That gives real freedom and comfort.
