^^^ what he does but i drive a desk now out of choice because 28yrs of doing ^^^^ that is enough and in my last 2 years technology can take the strain instead.

I was a land surveyor although I actually graduated as a mining engineer! These days I travel around supporting the increasingly complicated instrumentation.

My work location is different every day and nearly always outside!

Also a Mining Engineering graduate now elsewhere employed flyin' them there Fokkers around europe. Great actual job, but am well and truly fed up of having my schedule (and nights away from home) mapped out by someone else. Just 227 more working days to go...
