However, there is some dispute as Lionel Fart of Droitwich had been working on the same party trick for some time and claims to be the first, although Donald Trump (all hail!) was the first to patent it.

Nevertheless, Trump is a modest man and went back to his hobby of sleeping with supermodels and porn stars while Lionel Fart hired Max Clifford as his publicist. As a result he eventually became the better know of the two and the term Trump fell out of use in favour of farting.
