When 'cars' were first driven on the road they needed insurance BUT how to define them was a problem.
So.....they were first defined as "ships that navigate on land".

Middle Earth factoids:

In the Two Towers, the scream as Aragorn falls to his knees after kicking the orc head was real. The actor had been kicking the fake head multiple times & in the last take, used in the movie, he broke his toe. But he stays in character long enough....

John Rhys-Davies who plays the shortest member of the fellowship, Gimli the dwarf, in reality was the tallest of the cast. He also provides the voice of Treebeard.

In Return of the King, the bearded pirate on the receiving end of Legolas arrow, knocked by Gimli, is director Peter Jackson in his third cameo. Stood around him are mainly members of the production crew who wanted to be in the final movie.

In the shot where Sam's arm holding sword Sting appears confronting giant spider Shelob...it's actually Jackson's arm in another 'cameo'.

Lawrence of Arabia was about 5ft 4 - some estimates say he was a fair bit shorter than that.
Peter O Toole who played him in the famous masterpiece was well over 6 foot.

The sort of casting which made Noel Coward tell O Toole that if he'd been any prettier they would have had to call it Florence of Arabia.
