While I changing the cables, I have lost the small piece which connect the cable to the rear derailleur. I googled it and it is not something that you can buy.
What can I do?

SJS cycles , are you talking about this type of thing

Thank you.
Now I have found those two pieces. What is missing is the bolt for that nut.
I found a bolt that will fit in to the nut. But when i tighten the nut, bolt keep circling with the tightening movement.
You got any old brake calipers , the fixing bolt/ nut might be similar .
Hold the nut with a pair of pliers.I changed the calipers as well. I tried to use it but still has the same issue.
Hold the nut with a pair of pliers.
Small 'mole' grips ?I did, but holding plier in one hand, allen key in the other leaves no hand to pull the cable!
I have a "third hand" tool but it was still not possible.
I am just angry and disappointed. I fix new shifters and brake calipers but what had taken most of my time and energy was to fix this rear cable. Still not complete!
@midliferider no help if your in a rush but I have a few old buggered derailleurs in the shed that should have clamps on , wont be able to look until tomorrow but if I have then I will pm for your address and post one out , if that's any use to you
