Thanks for the suggestion, but I might just pass on the udder rub..Bag Balm works really well. It's a dairy farm use product for cow udders (the "bag") and contains petroleum jelly, lanolin and antibactierials. Comes in a 7 oz tin and lasts a long time. Look for it at a farm and feed store.
