The Tacx forums have a few people complaining about noise. Mine was pretty quiet but calibration was a nightmare, it used to fail 5 times out of 6. When it did calibrate the resistance was far too high. I used to calibrate and then back it off a few turns. I assume you are only doing the calibration when the tyre is warm?
Everything above it written in the past tense as last week the unit blew up on me. I have to wait a month or so for Amazon to get stock back in for the warranty replacement. I hope this one is better.
