Bet you had to Google black pudding @Randyberlin? It is a lot more appetising than it sounds, I promise.

From the interweb:
I had the opposite problem when I lived in the UK. I was craving a Pennsylvania product called scrapple, which was totally unavailable there. However, I discovered that black pudding tasted quite similar.
If you're in Pennsylvania or one of the surrounding states, scrapple can be bought in the grocery store. If not, it can be ordered here:

I'm curious to try this scrapple, sounds interesting.

Couple of years ago I spent a week cycling home from Edinburgh. Stayed in b&b's and enjoyed a fry up every morning (getting up to 98kg didn't happen by accident). Started on haggis with breakfast then once over the border had a daily dose of black pudding although I do seem to recall white pudding somewhere around Whitby.

Now I have to google white pudding.

Now I have to google white pudding.

Your lucky, I thought it would involve 'Tripe' (Stomach lining) but it's just a bit like black pudding without the blood.
Black pudding is really lush, looks a bit suspect, but once you have tried it you will never look back.
Saying that I have never tried Tripe but I bought some for a rescue dog we got to try and bulk him up and he threw it up big style.
Our vet later advised that because he was so emaciated the tripe was probably a bit too much and we needed to stick to chicken and rice for him.
Probably why I have never tried Tripe being emaciated myself!

Looks like Rick got "half-speed"ed at the start. His limit is just a bit higher than mine, about 54/55 mph it seems.

Nothing separating us in the league Bridgy, 16 seconds!?! Going to do a ghost challenge on the lumpy one? You could claw that back I'm sure. Especially when you consider the gains I made from Thursday to Saturday.
If you do, let me know, I would love to watch that.

Tempting as your kind offer is, I think it's about time I braved the dangers of the real world for a bit of mountain biking instead!

16 seconds though - wow! Couldn't be much closer after an hour and a half of racing! And Rick's less than two minutes behind me and more than capable of taking that out of me on a stage. Looking down the league there's loads more close personal battles going on too....

Tripe, they were the days, one of my mums favourite foods until dad banned it from the house because of the smell.

I prefer white pudding to black, but again that's my mums influence also with liver and bacon. Making myself hungry.

The climbs are my thing, I will be outclassed on the next couple of stages.
I too am about to venture into the light, but to concrete some posts in. Not as satisfying as cycling unfortunately.
