I can drop out of the Thursday session next week and do the Saturday, just so we have enough riders to make drafting beneficial. I don't know how it would work exactly, but may be the front rider could do 30-45 secs on the front at an steady but increased pace, the rest of us staying in line behind each others in the swirly thing, front guy then drops to back of pack to recover, repeat I have only drafted once and I got a 30 watt drop in power benefit, so I think it is worth it if we can stick together for as long as possible, Last couple of miles, no rules, assuming we are all still together^_^

That is the thought :okay: Best laid plans of men and :hyper::excl:

I should be around for Thursday night but not sure if I'll be able to keep up with the mid table riders.

It sounds a bit like sequence dancing and I was pretty cr@p at that, but will to give it go and see how we get on.

I'm up for trying drafting whenever you guys are.

I was planning to do the chaingang ride today Soarer but maybe early / mid afternoon. Is that any good for you bud?

I've gotten a puncture on both of my last 2 turbo sessions. Considering I've had one puncture in the last year in the 'real world' it's a bit mad. The first was my fault. I'm using an old tire on my turbo wheel and a piece of imbedded glass I hadn't noticed had pushed through to the inner tube. The 2nd i haven't really looked at yet as I only realised I'd got it when wheeling the bike out for the morning commute.

Just shows you're not even safe in your own home from the dreaded puncture goblin!

I went through a phase of turbo punctures last year, and just as you said, avoiding tyres that have been outside has to be the first priority and secondly use a good inner tube. As rotating weight does not matter on the turbo (I don't think but yet to be proven) I just use budget continental tubes which seem very strong but not lightweight. Not had puncture since.

Sounds like I missed a good race last night. I am afraid the lure of Polish vodkas and food was too strong. First go on the turbo today in almost a week. It's always a shock to the system! I suspect I woul als be up for trying some drafting tomorrow especially given I never get it right:blush:

Did the chain gang stage 3 ride this morning, added a few ghosts so apologies to a couple of people who might have received emails  Shoulder starting aching just over half way and I notice I had started to tighten the grip on the handlebars so had to ease off and let insomina get away from me a bit (40 seconds or so). With about a mile to go I thought I might be able to catch back up, but not quite, ended up just 3 seconds behind, felt better in the second half of the ride than the first.

Ok all. I have a slight problem. I have scheduled last nights chaingang session for today (didn't get home until it was all done and dusted), but I can't see it in bsim under the leagues tab .

It appears as though we have about 40 sessions scheduled in the T100, moose and chaingang leagues for today (I am a member of each league ). Bsim will only display about 15 scheduled seesions in the leagues tab .

Can anyone who has scheduled a ride in any of these league that they are unable to complete this afternoon please go into you session and push the date back a couple of days. This should promote my ride, but still leave yours available .

Thanks :hello:

Edit to add.

If the same person has booked all the T100 sessions want to complete the first 25 or so scheduled so I can do my one :notworthy:

You can use the filter to get rid of everything but the 'easy' rides, I had to do it this morning, before the ride would show.

I might buy a turbo specific tyre Bill. If anything just to see if I notice a tangible difference. Is yours 23 or 25mm?

I've just done yesterday's chaingang ride. Or should I say I've just done the route but managed to do it outside the chaingang... :cursing:

Picking ghosts and making sure it is the official ride at the same time is apparently too much for my brain to handle... Bit gutted.

Sadly I have been allocated jobs to do that I can't find an excuse for so doubt I will be on until 6 or 7.
