We all got headsets bridgy.

Kipster 'found' one at work. Adam and andy found them in their spares drawer and I payed well over the odds for one. It's lovely but far more than I need.

They worked very well on the whole. I'm not sure how loud I came across to the others but my other half could hear me 2 floors up. I may have to work on that.
Sshhh. I work with bazzer99

Would a group skype work for the in team communications?

The problem with the Bkool chat is that you really need to communicate with your team if you fall back or end up out in front, and Bkool chat only works when you are close together. Also, the communication should be secret, otherwise how else will you manage to drop the pesky competitor who sits on in your hard earned team draft?

Thanks for all the thanks! :hugs:

I enjoy arranging and watching the rides, not as much as I enjoyed taking part but hey ho!

I had an MRI brain scan Monday (after another bout of vision problems and 4 hours in A&E till 3am) and the good news is that I haven't had any further bleeds since last April, and no evidence of mini-strokes either. But I do have sinusitis! :banghead:

I asked the Stroke Consultant if that meant I could go out and cycle up the Merry Harriers climb, and she was reluctant to say anything other than moderate exercise was probably OK, and the longer I leave it the better it will have healed!

The funny thing is, she said that standard advice after a first stroke is that you are risk of re-bleeding at first, but after six months you are OK. Evidently I am an anomaly for getting a secondary bleed after just over a year.

The power of Bkool!

Made me feel slightly less of a fool for over doing it on the trainer, but still leaves me wondering whether I can afford to risk it again at any point in the future.

Anyway, enough about me... let's talk about you!

Gosh it was a close run race in the end between blues and not reds after watching video. The handicaps weren't too bad, maybe a minute extra for the first couple of teams so they are right there at the finish

Geoff, there are some fantastic improvements from many. I think we need to applaud you and all others who help create these handicap races. These have certainly helped me improve my fitness no end. Well done sir
