Thanks for all the thanks!
I enjoy arranging and watching the rides, not as much as I enjoyed taking part but hey ho!
I had an MRI brain scan Monday (after another bout of vision problems and 4 hours in A&E till 3am) and the good news is that I haven't had any further bleeds since last April, and no evidence of mini-strokes either. But I do have sinusitis!
I asked the Stroke Consultant if that meant I could go out and cycle up the Merry Harriers climb, and she was reluctant to say anything other than moderate exercise was probably OK, and the longer I leave it the better it will have healed!
The funny thing is, she said that standard advice after a first stroke is that you are risk of re-bleeding at first, but after six months you are OK. Evidently I am an anomaly for getting a secondary bleed after just over a year.
The power of Bkool!
Made me feel slightly less of a fool for over doing it on the trainer, but still leaves me wondering whether I can afford to risk it again at any point in the future.
Anyway, enough about me... let's talk about you!
