would like to attach and compare my Giant Advance Pro 1, luvverly Hunt disc wheels and tubeless schwalbe 28 tyres but that seems overkill and I am scared of shredding the tyres! I am 3-5 miles faster on it on the road than the pro6 so it would be interesting.
Do you mean it's possible to "cheat"?That was another strange start was it not? I think we were ready for it this time though as we were off the line fast. You were a bit behind perhaps but you caught me quick along with Olvin. There was someone way out front who obviously had no resistance at all and did the whole thing at 40mph. Hope he doesn't get credited with the win.
Anyway, well done Rick. If you knew how much pain I was in you might have gone quick enough to beat me. I was sure that you and Scott would get me near the end. I was wondering which of you came out on top.
Yep, assuming you're Big Al you are now inRick,

I really don't fancy spending well over an hour at 101% so it'll be another ride watching you disappear into the distance.
Oh Joy! Looks like I've got to chase Guy (as the only one who's done it so far) up Col du Glandon tonight. Not looking forward to it if it's anything like your last effort Guy.

edit: Anyone else up for it? Starting the session about 5pm
could be, but also you will put a lot more pressue on the cassette than a normal ride unless you live in the alps
