Glad i did not try against his or her ghost :surrender::surrender:
Well done Guy! I tried my best and even a trick or two but I couldn't stay with you. Happy with my time though and especially glad that its over. 1500 calories burned! Now I just have to try and avoid eating 1500 calories.:hungry:
Thought you had me when you went from a minute behind to a minute in front on the middle decent. Your wattage went up to over 1100 briefly!
Good time Ryan, if about four minutes too fast for my liking!!!

Thanks Guy . I can set the pace better on long climbs . I tried a few of the top 100 climbs at the Weekend and the short fast climbs kill me .

Very jealous this week as I can't do anything as bike is being fixed (hopefully). Will pick it up Saturday morning and hopefully try the new ride over the weekend. Looks like another 2+ hour ride for us slow fatties!!! Oh well, no pain no gain (and all that!)

Unfortunately I can only manage an early one tonight. Might try and pop in to watch your progress later on though if you're going for it

I would have been Bill, challenged you and somehow Guy lined up to. 3 attempts and each time bkool froze. Firstly loosing connection with the trainer, the ant+ as usual right next to the control unit! Second time buffering the video files and then freezing and the third just not recognising I had stopped pedalling. Yet I could see cadence drop to zero on the screen as did power. Frigging frustrating! Felt good tonight too having carbed up over lunch and, err, into the afternoon. To add insult to injury I then loaded up Zwift, it updated and then I went straight into a ride, no problems at all. IBkool is great when it works but bleeding frustrating when it doesn't.
By the way, great times and power output from you guys tonight. Really impressive.

That worked out very well for me short term but I still didn't think I had a chance. Sometimes you can carry a massive speed up 10% gradient if you have a steep downhill leading onto it. Its a bkool quirk that works in some places. Learned that in the bkool summer cup. Couldn't match your steady power up the hill though and in the end I was only good for about 250.

Hi guys. I just completed Alpe d'Huez there in the league. Just going back in to check how i done and the ride isn't showing up on my past rides/history. I am sure i saved it ok. Please tell me this is normal / awaiting approval as i don't think I could put myself through it again!!

As Rick says, if you know your time then we can probably help out if you put in a short dummy run so we can allocate the time of your lost ride to it. Losing rides isn't normal these days although it was a year or so back. It's possible it was lost by bkool and it could turn up after a few days or it could never be seen again.
After a ride like Alpe d'Huez you'll be thinking you don't want to do it again anytime soon, but after a few days the pain is forgotten and you'll be out to beat your previous time. Well that's one theory.

I checked my Garmin and it was in or around the 53 minute mark but i was going eyeballs out for the last 1k so i cant swear the exact time. I wasnt exactly in a focused state of mind at the end so maybe i forgot to save the ride when id finished the cooldown.

SLOVENSKA BISTRICA-TRIJE KRALJI JAKEC SLO - Remember to bring mountain axe and rope to get over that 50% section.
That 50% was too short to notice.

Guy, that's one hell of a slingshot you made on the last ascend. I was 10 seconds ahead at the bottom, but you just blasted past me, and the time ticked away like a petrol pump during the oil crisis:wacko:. It stopped at about 2 minutes, when I began hauling you in again.

I was 10 seconds behind a few hundred meters from the finish line and I could have sworn I just sprinted passed you at the line. Anyway, I was expecting our times to be within seconds, so very strange that I'm listed as 1 min and 10 seconds behind:scratch:.

Another 2 Top 100 done. I wasn't kidding when I said these would be my mountain goat stages 103% on one and 95% on the other. Just over the hour all told with warm up cool down. ^_^

That's 75 Kg, it lists it in grammes, I guess so you can have fractions of a Kg.

That's a relief, I thought I had turned into a medium sized truck....which might explain how hard it is getting up some of these hills!
